Burial Rites

Based on true events, this is an interesting story about Agnus Magnusdottir, the last woman to be executed in Iceland. It feels as though you are with Agnus during her last days, listening as she tells her own version of what happened on the night the two men were killed.

Kane And Abel

I loved this book!! William Kane was born into a wealthy family in Boston. Abel Rosnovski was born into Polish poverty. Both men face setbacks that harden them into determined men who will stop at nothing to succeed.

We Are Not Ourselves

A very, very long, mostly boring, book about Eileen and her family. Lots of unnecessary words in here.. as if the author had a field day with a thesaurus. I began to hate the book about halfway through. I'm happy it's done.

The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes

Genevieve Russell disappeared in 1977. Her remains have been found 20 years later and Tim Gleason has been caught and charged with the murder of both Genevieve and her unborn baby.. only there is no sign of the unborn baby. CeeCee Wilkes knows what happened to Genevieve Russell and she knows what happened to her unborn child. And she also knows that Tim is not guilty of murdering them. This book was SO good!
