I went through a little green phase and watched his show, so I decided to pick up the book. There are lots of tips, reasons and examples to incorporate simple eco-friendly changes into your life which could also save you money down the road.  

For One More Day

Chick chose to be a daddy’s boy only to have his father disappear when Chick was on the verge of adolescence. His life is crap and the last straw is when his only daughter has left him out of her wedding. He goes back to his hometown, with the intention of taking his life, but after failing to do so, he returns to his old house. His mother, having died eight years earlier, is still living there and invites him in as if nothing happened.

An inspirational book about Morrie Schwartz, an old professor of Mitch Albom's. He found out he is dying from ALS and Mitch goes to visit him. This leads to regular visits every Tuesday where various life lessons are discussed.
